The partnership of AIA Newark and Suburban and the Young Architects Forum organised international competition to find innovative, visionary and compelling proposals for container constructed multi-family mixed-use project.

Our design provides a new and vibrant plaza to Broad Street Station with a series of cafes, street-side local shops and hotel with restaurant and facilities. The scale is appropriate to the high-rise buildings along Broad Street and low-rise residential development at south-west boundary. The overall composition provides a visual connection to Broad Station. The corner will be a visual attraction and an urban marker.

Mixed use with outstanding public realm, a diversity of adaptable containers, good local services and streets designed for people, walking, bicycles and public transport as well as the private car. Such living environment creates better communities and stronger society and remain attractive and desirable over time – they, therefore, make for better long term economics.
